Manakamana Cablecar was inaugurated on November 24, 1998. The bottom station is located on the bank of Trishuli River (258 Mtr) at Cheres, Kurintar, and Top Station (1302 Mtr) at Manakamana, is a 2.5 hrs drive from Capital Kathmandu, 2 hrs from Pokhara, and 1 hour from Chitwan. Before the cable car was established, millions of pilgrims have to go to Manakamana by a long strenuous trek. Few number of people still prefer the footpath. The cable car ride covers a distance of 3.02 KM with 34 passengers and 3 cargo cars, each with a seating capacity of 6 people; the system has the overall capacity of handling 600 to 700 passengers per hour and takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach Manakamana.

The above rate are inclusive of all local taxes and applicable VAT.

Child is categorized by their height. Children above 3 feet and up to 4 feet height qualifies for child rate.

No tickets applicable for child up to 3 feet height.

Elderly citizen and student rates are applicable for Nepali only and requires proof or ID.

60 years and above qualifies for elderly citizen rate.

The validity of the cable car ticket is 7 days from date of purchase. No refunds will be made if the validity expires.

All passengers are insured up to NPR 500,000.00.

15kg baggage allowance is given free of charge. Baggage exceeding the weight limit will be charged @ of NPR 20.00 per kg

The cable car system is 100% safe with a backup system i.e. automatically operated generator that starts within 3 to 6 seconds of power failure, a hydraulic emergency drive, and qualified and trained manpower for emergency rescue with modern rescue devices provided by the manufacturer of the cable car system.

The cost does not include: (changeable Price)

  • any personal expenses.
  • Expenses incurred due to change in fuel charge, landslide, strikes, political unrest etc. In such case extra activities will be charged as per actual which will be collected from the guest directly.
  • Any rides, safaris, additional sightseeing / shopping tours other than those mentioned in the Inclusions / itinerary. Permits, Camera fees, unless specified in the inclusions.
  • Please do not carry note of Indian 500 & 2000 .
  • Personal expenses like phone calls, laundry, room heater charges, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, mineral water, room service, tea/ coffee etc unless specified.
  • If an upgrade is required to confirm any particular hotel, the supplement will be given
  • Any other expenses/service not mentioned in the inclusions.

Note:

SEATS & ROOMS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.

SURCHARGE MAY BE APPLICABLE DUE TO PEAK SEASON.

NEED NAMES AS PER PASSPORT FOR THE BLOCKING OF SEATS.

For any kinds of disputes the case will be held in Nepal itself, subject to Kathmandu judiciary.

 Payment Policy: In Bound (changeable Price)

  • Package Confirmation 25%
  • Balance amount should be made 15 days after confirmation.
  • Short time booking 100% payment. [ within 10 days ]
  • The Service voucher will apply after full payment.

Cancellation Policy: (changeable Price)

  • After Confirmation = 25 % of rate
  • within 15 to 20 days = 50% of rate
  • less than 10 Days = 100%
  • Air tickets cancellation as per airlines rules + 25% Service Charge

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • We are providing vehicles for only Pickup / Drop & Mention sightseeing points. If guests require a vehicle for extra service then additional cost will be applied.
  • CHECK-IN: The official check-in time is after 2:00 pm. Kindly note that guests requiring early check-in will be subject to availability.
  • CHECK-OUT: The official checkout time is 12:00 noon. Checkout after 12:00 noon but before 4:00 pm is subject to a charge of 50% of the proposed rate of the room category booked. A full day’s room charge will be applicable for checkout after 4.00 pm. Kindly note that the half-day rate may be subject to change.
  • Validity: The above mention rate is applicable only for Indian Nationalities
  • Please Do not carry notes of 500 & 2000.
  • The above rate can change as per Hotel, Transportation & Air fare or the management & Govt. policy.
  • All sightseeing is subject to weather & political conditions in the destination.
  • It is mandatory to carry a valid photo Passport with validity of 6 month / Voter ID card for Indian Nationality.
  • The hotel confirmed will be as mentioned or an alternate hotel of similar.

Any Payment Made in India is applicable to 5% GST

Responsibility for Taxes. Travel Agent acknowledges that, regardless of any action taken by Travelling Pants LLP / Saraogi Nepal the ultimate responsibility for Tax Collected at Source (‘TCS’) under section 206C(1G) or any other taxes as may be legally applicable and filing requirements in connection with the same thereof (hereinafter collectively referred to as ‘Tax Obligations’), is and shall remain his (or her) responsibility.

(Please be updated with immediate effect at the time of Full & Final Payment – 5% TCS Amount or TCS challan will be collected from all Agents – Valid for all Booking with Full Payment until 30 Sep 2023.From 01 Oct 2023, onwards TCS will be charged at 20%.)

Please Note : As per RBI Guidelines all PAN cards submitted for remittance has to be linked with Aadhar card.
